An African American heirloom brought to this country from either the Caribbean or Africa by enslaved peoples. The name Fish Pepper refers to its common use with seafood. Plant has beautiful variegated leaved. The very hot peppers are 2-3 inches long by ½ inch wide. They ripen from green to rust red.
