Annual. 4-6 ft. plant. Native to the southern United States, Mexico, India and China. Known as Prince’s Feather in the US. Beautiful, multicolored leaves with tall, upright crimson plumes. Brought to Europe by John Tradescant in 1684. Requires full sun but wilts easily in dry weather.

The earliest blooming salvia variety. An unbelievable salmon orange bloom.
