Native to the Mediterranean regions, Chionodoxa, also known as Glory-of-the-Snow, is an
old cottage garden favorite. It enjoyed popularity in Victorian gardens and gardens of the early
20th century in America. Among the earliest of the spring blooming plants, the blooms are
delicate, star-shaped flowers in blue, pink or white.
Chionodoxa are very hardy, deer proof, easily naturalizing plants that force well. Plant 4"
deep and 4" apart.
