Crocosmiiflora is native to South Africa, Australia and Tasmania. Some wild species have been designated as invasive in countries like Great Britain, but the cultivated varieties are not invasive. The plants form long spikes of vividly colored flowers which are suitable for cutting. Blossoms colors vary from red to yellow to orange.
