Paperwhite belong to the family of Tazetta Narcissi and have long been a part of the indoor gardening season because of their remarkable fragrance. Native to regions of the Mediterranean, the paperwhite has been grown throughout Europe for centuries. Place paperwhites in a cool (50-60 degrees), dark place for 1-2 weeks. Remove and pot in soil-3 to a six-inch pot-or place in a glass bowl lined with 2 inches of pebbles and cover with water. You can place as many in the glass bowl as will fit. Place in indirect sunlight until foliage is 4” tall, then move to direct sunlight and keep well watered. If plants become leggy, cut blossom stems and place in a vase. The blossoms will last almost as long kept this way. Bulbs cannot be used again next year.
